§ 37-16-4 - Stay of legal proceedings pending arbitration.
SECTION 37-16-4
§ 37-16-4 Stay of legal proceedings pending arbitration. – If any suit or proceedings be brought upon any issue referable to arbitration under contract in writing providing for arbitration, the court in which the suit is pending upon being satisfied that the issue involved in the suit or proceedings is referable to arbitration under the contract, shall on application of one of the parties, stay the trial of the action until arbitration has been held.
