2005 Rhode Island Code - § 39-1.2-2 — Excavation or demolition near public utility.
No person, public agency, or public utility shall engage in excavation in
approximate location of public utility facilities or discharge explosives or
demolish a structure containing a public utility facility without having first
ascertained in the manner prescribed in this chapter the location of all public
utility facilities or public utilities in the area or the absence thereof.
