2005 Rhode Island Code - § 21-27-4 — Sale of food not handled in compliance with chapter prohibited – Confiscation.
No person shall sell or possess with intent to sell within this state for human consumption any food which has not been processed, transported, or sold in compliance with the provisions of this chapter and the regulations adopted in accordance with this chapter. Any food which the director shall have reasonable cause to believe has not been processed, transported, or sold in compliance with the provisions of this chapter and the regulations adopted in accordance with this chapter may be confiscated.Disclaimer: These codes may not be the most recent version.
