2005 Rhode Island Code - § 21-1-10 — Violations of chapter – Penalty.
Any person that violates any of the provisions of this chapter, or of the rules
and regulations promulgated pursuant to this chapter, and any principal,
proprietor, agent, servant, or employee, who directs or knowingly permits the
violation or who aids or assists in the violation, shall upon conviction, be
subject to a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100); but if a
violation is committed after a conviction of the person under this section has
become final, the person shall be subject to a fine of not less than one
hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500) for each
succeeding offense. Each violation shall be considered a separate offense.
