2005 Rhode Island Code - § 17-11-3 — Appointment of moderators and clerks in the town of Smithfield.

Moderators and clerks of voting districts in the town of Smithfield shall be appointed by the Smithfield town council at least thirty-five (35) days prior to the date of a primary or election. The moderator and clerk of a polling place shall not be of the same political party.
