§ 985. Powers of the Committee

The Committee shall have the power to:
(a) Examine a rule proposed or adopted by any Executive Branch Entity for the purpose of determining whether:(1) It is consistent with the legislative intent of the enabling statute; or(2) the Executive Branch entity can adopt the proposed rule in accordance with the applicable laws; or(3) the rule is onerous.(b) Ensure compliance with the legislative mandate of adopting rules to discharge this delegated function in the absence of bylaws.History
