§ 10021. Service rendering by Program’s beneficiary, limitation

Any System participant who applies for the benefits of the Program shall not render services under any job classification as employee of any agency for a period of seven (7) years. After this period, the beneficiary may render his services to agencies in accordance with the provisions of employment for pensioners under §§ 761 et seq. of this title.

The agencies shall submit to the Government of Puerto Rico Human Resources Administration and Transformation Office and the OMB a list of participants enrolled in the Program who, consequently, are ineligible for employment in an agency.

The election form for enrolling in the Program shall contain a warning, in bold letters, on the participant’s ineligibility to reenter the public service for a period of seven (7) years.
