The entities that use the services of the members of the correctional population shall be bound to include them in their payroll, for the purposes of this chapter, on the basis of the wages received, which for the purposes of the payroll report to be rendered annually to the Administrator of the State Insurance Fund, shall not be less than eight dollars a week or what is otherwise established in the future by the Administrator of the State Insurance Fund by legal authority. It shall be the obligation of these entities to annually include in their expense budget, sufficient funds to defray the payment of the corresponding premiums for the use of members of the correctional population.
