The following shall be accepted as definitions of words and phrases used in this chapter:

Cropper. — Shall include any farm hand, laborer or agricultural worker who binds himself to cultivate on shares [of] any tillable land belonging to another person.

Landholder. — Shall include any farmer, proprietor, owner, lessee, administrator and usufructuary of tillable land, and shall also include any natural or juridical person in possession of such land.

Tillable land. — Shall include any farm or property, field or arable land, and any rural or urban land [capable] of being cultivated.
