§ 75 - Evaluation of proposals

(a) Priorities. — The Secretary shall annually establish specific priorities in the research areas in accordance with the government public policy and shall establish the mechanisms and regulations necessary to channel the research proposal petitions received by the Committee.

(b) [Effectiveness]. — The proposals shall be competitive and upon their approval, these proposals shall be in effect for a minimum of one (1) year to a maximum of three (3) years for the development and conclusion of the research. The applicant may, by means of petition, extend said term if the Committee deems that such extension is reasonable, but the same shall not exceed two (2) additional years.
