§ 862. Period for the movement of cattle

A period for the movement of cattle is hereby established within which farmers, their employees or any person authorized thereby shall take any steps inherent to the transfer and transportation of cattle for the purpose of corralling, feeding, pasturing, milking, mating, or providing veterinary treatment or of any other kind to said cattle as required by the Secretary of Agriculture and for exhibiting, inventorying and disposing of dead animals or animals ready for consumption (carcasses or canals), for cremation, sale, deposit, lease or any other legal steps inherent and pertinent to the type of cattle in question.
