It is the public policy of the Government of Puerto Rico to develop a strategy for agricultural and livestock development during the next 20 years. The main goal is to devise a 20-year Agricultural Plan that furthers the growth of agricultural and livestock activities, from its current position as a secondary sector of the economy, to a primary production sector in Puerto Rico.
