AN ACT

 

Amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in military leave of absence, further providing for employment discrimination for military membership or duty.

 

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows:

 

Section 1.  Section 7309 of Title 51 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

§ 7309.  Employment discrimination for military membership or duty.

(d.1)  Applicability to out-of-State members.--This section shall also apply to an individual who is a member of a National Guard or reserve component from another state.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
