Section 717 - Mandatory eight count

     § 717.  Mandatory eight count.
        Whenever a boxer is knocked down, the boxer shall be required
     to take a count of eight. The referee shall not permit the
     contest or exhibition to be resumed until the count of eight has
     been reached, except in professional championship contests and
     exhibitions.
