525 - Sale of generating units and power.

     § 525.  Sale of generating units and power.
        The commission may prohibit a public utility from
     discontinuing an electric generating unit from normal operation
     if the commission determines that it would be technically
     feasible and cost effective for the utility to sell the unit or
     the power from the unit to another utility and if the commission
     determines that it would be cost effective for the other utility
     to make such a purchase. The commission may also order the sale
     of the unit or the power from the unit if the commission
     determines that such a sale would be technically feasible and
     cost effective for both the selling and buying utilities.
