Chapter 682 - Ambulance Services; Emergency Medical Services
Section 682.545 - Immunity from civil, criminal liability.

(1) An emergency medical services provider may not be held liable for acting in accordance with approved emergency medical services plans.

(2) A person who in good faith provides information to an emergency medical services data system is immune from any civil or criminal liability that might otherwise be incurred or imposed with respect to provision of the information. [2024 c.32 §16]

Note: Sections 33 and 34, chapter 32, Oregon Laws 2024, provide:

Sec. 33. Not later than December 31 of each even-numbered year, the Oregon Health Authority shall submit, in the manner provided in ORS 192.245, a report to the Legislative Assembly on the progress of implementing the provisions of sections 2 to 16 of this 2024 Act [682.500 to 682.545]. The report must include detailed information regarding any challenges in implementing the provisions of sections 2 to 16 of this 2024 Act. [2024 c.32 §33]

Sec. 34. Section 33 of this 2024 Act is repealed on December 31, 2030. [2024 c.32 §34]
