(1) The Department of Human Services shall be responsible for planning, policy development, administration and delivery of services to children with developmental disabilities and their families. Services to children with developmental disabilities may include, but are not limited to, case management, family support, crisis and diversion services, intensive in-home services, and residential and foster care services. The department may deliver the services directly or through contracts with private entities, counties under ORS 430.620 or other public entities.
(2) The Oregon Health Authority shall be responsible for psychiatric residential and day treatment services for children with mental or emotional disturbances. [1993 c.676 §28(2); 1999 c.316 §1; 2009 c.595 §472; 2013 c.36 §28]
