Chapter 807 - Driving Privileges and Identification Cards
Section 807.735 - Providing assistance to applicants for driver licenses, driver permits and identification cards.

Universal Citation: OR Rev Stat § 807.735 (2019)

(1) Using existing resources, the Department of Transportation shall provide ombudsman services to applicants for a driver license, a driver permit or an identification card. An ombudsman shall assist applicants who are otherwise qualified for issuance, renewal or replacement of a driver license, a driver permit or an identification card but who are unable to produce the documentation required by the department under ORS 807.021 and 807.730.

(2) The department may not provide ombudsman services to an applicant unless the applicant certifies in writing that the applicant is, to the best of the applicant’s knowledge, legally present in the United States. [2008 c.1 §34]
