Section 87.216 - Nonpossessory lien for labor or material expended on chattel.

Universal Citation: OR Rev Stat § 87.216 (2019)

A person who makes, alters, repairs, transports, stores, provides services for or performs labor on a chattel at the request of the owner of the chattel has a lien on that chattel for the reasonable or agreed charges for the labor or services the person performs and for the materials the person furnishes in connection therewith.
