Section 475B.281 - Whistleblower protection for employees.

Universal Citation: OR Rev Stat § 475B.281 (2017)

(1) It is an unlawful employment practice for a licensee to discharge, demote, suspend or in any manner discriminate or retaliate against an employee of the licensee with regard to promotion, compensation or other terms, conditions or privileges of employment on the basis that the employee has in good faith reported information to the Oregon Liquor Control Commission that the employee believes is evidence of a violation of ORS 475B.010 to 475B.545 or a rule adopted under ORS 475B.010 to 475B.545.

(2) This section is subject to enforcement under ORS chapter 659A. [Formerly 475B.233]
