Chapter 811 - Rules of the Road for Drivers
Section 811.480 - Illegal backing; penalty.
OR Rev Stat § 811.480 (2015) What's This?
(1) A person commits the offense of illegal backing if the person backs a vehicle the person is driving when it is not safe to do so or when it causes interference with other traffic upon a highway.
(2) The offense described in this section, illegal backing, is a Class D traffic violation.
