Section 743.486 - Scope of term "insured" in statutory policy provisions.
OR Rev Stat § 743.486 (2015) What's This?
As used in ORS 743.402 to 743.498, the word "insured" shall not be construed as preventing a person other than the insured with a proper insurable interest from making application for and owning a policy covering the insured or from being entitled under such a policy to any indemnities, benefits and rights provided therein.
