Section 709.160 - Solicitation and performance of legal business.

OR Rev Stat § 709.160 (2015) What's This?

(1) A trust company shall not advertise to furnish or furnish to the public legal advice or hold itself out as practicing law.

(2) A trust company that violates subsection (1) of this section is ineligible for one year thereafter to be judicially appointed as a fiduciary in this state.
