Section 506.521 - Enforcement of commercial fishing laws; officers subject to direction and control of commission or director.

Each member of the State Fish and Wildlife Commission, the State Fish and Wildlife Director and every inspector, deputy fish warden, special deputy fish warden, and all peace officers of this state or any political subdivision therein, including police officers commissioned by a university under ORS 352.121 or 353.125, shall enforce the commercial fishing laws within their respective jurisdictions. In the performance of these duties such officers are subject to the direction and control of the commission or director.
