Section 21.025 - Motion fees in appellate courts; exceptions.

OR Rev Stat § 21.025 (2015) What's This?

(1) In any appeal or petition for review subject to a fee under ORS 21.010, a $50 fee must be paid by the party filing one of the following motions and by the party responding to the motion:

(a) A motion to dismiss filed by a respondent.

(b) A motion to determine jurisdiction.

(c) A motion for continuance.

(d) A motion for an extension of time for the filing of a brief or other document in the proceeding.

(2) The fees provided for in this section may not be collected from the state, a county, a city or a school district.
