93.280 Manner of conveyance to create joint property rights.


OR Rev Stat § 93.280 (through Leg Sess 2011) What's This?

(1) Any person or persons owning real property which the person or persons have power to convey may convey such property by a conveyance naming the person or persons and another person or persons, or one or more of themselves and another person or other persons, as grantees. The conveyance shall have the same effect as a conveyance from a stranger who owned the property to the persons named as grantees.

(2) Any two or more persons owning real property which they have power to convey may convey such property by a conveyance naming one, or more than one, of all such persons, as grantees. The conveyance shall have the same effect as a conveyance from a stranger who owned the property to the persons named as grantees.

(3) Any person mentioned in this section may be a married person, and any persons so mentioned may be married to each other. [1973 c.209 1,2,3]
