OR Rev Stat § 731.364 (through Leg Sess 2011) What's This?

A domestic insurer, upon the approval of the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services, may transfer its domicile to any other state in which it is admitted to transact the business of insurance. Upon such a transfer the insurer ceases to be a domestic insurer and may be authorized in this state if qualified as a foreign insurer.
