607.311 Taking up estray animal; prohibition.


OR Rev Stat § 607.311 (through Leg Sess 2011) What's This?

(1) A person who finds an estray animal upon the premises of the person or premises of which the person has lawful possession or control may take up the animal.

(2) A person may not knowingly take up or retain possession, custody or control of an estray animal without giving the notice required by ORS 607.313. [1953 c.367 9; 1975 c.65 3; 2009 c.336 6]
