583.540 Enforcement of ORS 583.410 to 583.565.

(1) The State Department of Agriculture may enforce by injunction or other appropriate proceedings in the circuit court of the county in which the defendant resides or has the principal place of business of the defendant any provisions of ORS 583.001, 583.004, 583.021, 583.028 and 583.410 to 583.565 or any order promulgated thereunder. The department shall not be required to give bond in any such proceeding. Such proceedings shall be given preference on the calendar of the circuit court in which filed.

(2) The provisions of ORS 583.001, 583.004, 583.021, 583.028 and 583.410 to 583.565 or violations thereof may be enforced under and as a part of the provisions of ORS 583.007, 583.016 and 583.046 to 583.166. [1963 c.442 13; 1977 c.307 16]
