442.468 Health care workforce data reporting.


OR Rev Stat § 442.468 (through Leg Sess 2011) What's This?

(1) Using data collected from all health care professional licensing boards, including but not limited to boards that license or certify chemical dependency and mental health treatment providers and other sources, the Office for Oregon Health Policy and Research shall create and maintain a healthcare workforce database that will provide information upon request to state agencies and to the Legislative Assembly about Oregon s healthcare workforce, including:

(a) Demographics, including race and ethnicity.

(b) Practice status.

(c) Education and training background.

(d) Population growth.

(e) Economic indicators.

(f) Incentives to attract qualified individuals, especially those from underrepresented minority groups, to healthcare education.

(2) The Administrator for the Office for Oregon Health Policy and Research may contract with a private or public entity to establish and maintain the database and to analyze the data. The office is not subject to the requirements of ORS chapters 279A, 279B and 279C with respect to the contract. [2009 c.595 1174; 2011 c.602 30]
