418.285 Authority of department same as private child-caring agency under ORS 418.270 to 418.280.

In addition to its other powers and responsibilities, the Department of Human Services has the same authority as a private child-caring agency under ORS 418.270 to 418.280. In exercising this authority, the department shall comply with the provisions of ORS 418.270 to 418.280 the same as a private child-caring agency. [Formerly 419.133; 1971 c.401 22; 2003 c.14 219]
