411.435 Enrollment of medical assistance program clients; agreements with local governments.

The Oregon Health Authority and the Department of Human Services shall endeavor to develop agreements with local governments to facilitate the enrollment of medical assistance program clients. Subject to the availability of funds therefor, the agreement shall be structured to allow flexibility by the state and local governments and may allow any of the following options for enrolling clients in medical assistance programs:

(1) Initial processing shall be done at the county health department by employees of the county, with eligibility determination completed at the local office of the Department of Human Services;

(2) Initial processing and eligibility determination shall be done at the county health department by employees of the local health department; or

(3) Application forms shall be made available at the county health department with initial processing and eligibility determination shall be done at the local office of the Department of Human Services. [Formerly 414.151; 2011 c.720 108]
