(1) The Office of Emergency Management, in consultation with the State Department of Geology and Mineral Industries, shall establish by rule a uniform tsunami warning signal, including rules specifying the type, duration and volume of the warning signal and the location of warning signal delivery devices, for use on the Oregon coast.
(2) The office is not required to carry out the duties assigned under subsection (1) of this section if sufficient moneys are not available under ORS 401.955. [Formerly 401.863]
