OR Rev Stat § Sec. (through Leg Sess 2011) What's This?

Sections 1 to 11 of this 2009 Act [24.350 to 24.400] apply only to actions commenced on or after the effective date of this 2009 Act [January 1, 2010] in which the issue of recognition of a foreign-country judgment is raised. Any action commenced before the effective date of this 2009 Act in which the issue of recognition of a foreign-country judgment is raised shall continue to be governed by the provisions of ORS 24.200 to 24.255, as those statutes were in effect immediately before the effective date of this 2009 Act.
