The Oregon State Bar shall require that attorneys complete one hour of training every three years designed to provide education on the duties of attorneys under ORS 419B.010. All training under this section shall be applied by the bar against the hours of continuing legal education required of attorneys as a condition of membership in the bar or as a condition to the practice of law in this state. Credit acquired under this section shall be applied first against any requirement of continuing legal education relating to ethics. [1999 c.953 2]
