Title 63. Public Health and Safety
§63-3241.11. Non-state government-owned nursing facilities and hospitals defined.

Universal Citation: 63 OK Stat § 3241.11 (2023)

For the purposes of a federal Medicaid supplemental payment program for non-state government-owned nursing facilities and hospitals, "non-state government-owned" means owned by a government other than the state including but not limited to:

1. A board of control created by and charged by a board of county commissioners with the management and control of a county hospital as provided by Section 789 of Title 19 of the Oklahoma Statutes;

2. A public trust or other organization that is created by a county under Section 176 of Title 60 of the Oklahoma Statutes and is under lease with a board of county commissioners for the operation of a county hospital as provided by Section 789 of Title 19 of the Oklahoma Statutes;

3. A municipal governing body that has established and maintains a municipal hospital as provided by Section 30-101 of Title 11 of the Oklahoma Statutes;

4. A board of control created by and charged by a municipal governing body with the management and control of a municipal hospital as provided by Section 30-102 of Title 11 of the Oklahoma Statutes; and

5. Any municipal or governmental body other than the state authorized to operate a health care facility including a hospital or nursing facility.
