§21-1486. Letters, threatening.

Every person who, with intent to extort any money or other property from another, sends to any person any letter or other writing, whether subscribed or not, expressing or implying, or adapted to imply, any threat, such as is specified in the second section of this article, is, upon conviction, guilty of a Class D1 felony offense punishable as provided for in subsections B through F of Section 20N of this title.
