Title 37A. Alcoholic Beverage
§37A-6-107. Prohibited acts of special event or caterer licensees

No special event or caterer licensee shall:

1. Purchase or receive any alcoholic beverage other than from a person holding a wine and spirits wholesaler or beer distributor license issued pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Control Act; provided, a special event or caterer licensee may purchase wine produced at small farm wineries or beer produced by a small brewer in this state directly from a winemaker or small brewer as provided in Section 2 of Article XXVIIIA of the Oklahoma Constitution or in this act; or

2. Transport alcoholic beverages from the place of purchase to the licensed premises unless the licensee also holds a private carrier license issued by the ABLE Commission.

NOTE: This section shall become effective October 1, 2018, upon certification of election returns favoring passage of the Constitutional Amendment proposed in Senate Joint Resolution No. 68 of the 2nd Session of the 55th Oklahoma Legislature.
