§37A-1-106. Exercise of police power

The Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Control Act shall be deemed an exercise of the police power of the State of Oklahoma for the protection of the welfare, health, peace, temperance and safety of the people of this state, and all provisions hereof shall be construed for the accomplishment of that purpose.
Added by Laws 2016, c. 366, § 6, eff. Oct. 1, 2018.
NOTE: This section shall become effective October 1, 2018, upon certification of election returns favoring passage of the Constitutional Amendment proposed in Senate Joint Resolution No. 68 of the 2nd Session of the 55th Oklahoma Legislature.
