§10-116c. Assistant probation officer - Salary.

10 OK Stat § 10-116c (2015) What's This?

In each county of this state wherein there is authorized to be appointed a probation officer under the provisions of 10 O.S.1951, Section 116, there is hereby further authorized the appointment of an assistant probation officer, pursuant to the same method and qualifications as are required for the appointment of the probation officer, and such assistant probation officer shall be under the direction and supervision of the probation officer after such appointment and qualification. The salary of such assistant probation officer shall be determined and fixed by a majority of the judges of the courts of record of such county, at not more than Forty-eight Hundred Dollars ($4,800.00) nor less than Thirty-six Hundred Dollars ($3,600.00) per annum, payable monthly. In addition to such salary, the assistant probation officer shall receive Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) per annum, payable monthly out of the court fund of such county for expenses in attending to the duties of such office.
