Title 74E. Ethics Rules
Rule 2.38. Candidate Contributions to Own Committee.

No candidate or candidate committee shall receive contributions from a political party, political action committee or other person in excess of the limits provided in this Rule. Provided, however, a candidate may contribute an unlimited amount to his or her candidate committee from his or her personal funds or from joint funds of the candidate and the candidate’s spouse. A gift or gifts to a candidate or a candidate’s spouse that are nontaxable under the United States Internal Revenue Code shall be considered contributions to the candidate’s candidate committee to the extent that the gift or gifts exceeds gifts from the same donor in three (3) of the preceding five (5) calendar years.
