§59-1820.8. License required - Time limit for applications for persons currently engaged in business.

59 OK Stat § 59-1820.8 (2014) What's This?

No person shall engage in a fire extinguisher industry business in this state without first having obtained a license pursuant to the provisions of the Fire Extinguisher Licensing Act. Provided, every person engaged in a fire extinguisher industry business in this state on the effective date of the Fire Extinguisher Licensing Act shall have ninety (90) days in which to apply to the State Fire Marshal for a license. A person applying for a license within this ninety-day period may continue business pending a final determination by the State Fire Marshal of the application. Additional time beyond the ninety-day period may be granted by the State Fire Marshal.
