Chapter 3951 | Public Insurance Adjusters
Section 3951.09 | Waiving of Examination for Applicant Licensed in Another State.

The superintendent of insurance shall issue a certificate of authority under this chapter in accordance with Chapter 4796. of the Revised Code to an applicant if either of the following applies:

(A) The applicant holds a license or certificate in another state.

(B) The applicant has satisfactory work experience, a government certification, or a private certification as described in Chapter 4796. of the Revised Code as a public insurance adjuster in a state that does not issue that license or certificate.
