(A) The department of administrative services shall develop and maintain a comprehensive and descriptive database of all real property under the custody and control of the state, except when otherwise required for reasons of homeland security. The database shall adequately describe, when known, the location, boundary, and acreage of the property, the use and name of the property, and the contact information and name of the state agency managing the property. The information in the database shall be available to the public free of charge through a searchable internet web site.

(B) Each landholding state agency shall collect and maintain a geographic information systems database of its respective landholdings, and shall provide the database to the Ohio geographically referenced information program council established in section 125.901 of the Revised Code.

(C) As used in this section, "state-owned property" does not include state property owned or under the control of the general assembly or any legislative agency, any court or judicial agency, the secretary of state, auditor of state, treasurer of state, or attorney general and their respective offices.
