Section 2929.07 | No Sentence of Life Imprisonment Without Parole for Offense Committed When a Minor.

(A) Notwithstanding any provision of the Revised Code to the contrary, a court shall not impose a sentence of life imprisonment without parole on any person for an offense that was committed when the person was under eighteen years of age.

(B) If an offender receives or received a sentence of life imprisonment without parole for an offense that was committed when the offender was under eighteen years of age, the offender's parole eligibility shall be determined under section 2967.132 of the Revised Code.
