Section 2101.027 | Hardin County Court of Common Pleas Judgeships.

(A) From January 1, 2023, through February 8, 2027, the probate judge of the court of common pleas of Hardin county shall have all the powers relating to the general division of the court of common pleas of Hardin county, shall be the clerk of the probate court, and shall exercise jurisdiction over matters that are within the jurisdiction of the general division.

(B) The judge of the court of common pleas of Hardin county who is elected in 2026, and successors, is the successor to the judge of the probate division of that court whose term expires February 8, 2027, shall be designated as a judge of the court of common pleas, general division, shall have all the powers relating to the general division of the court of common pleas of Hardin county, shall be the clerk of the probate court, and shall exercise jurisdiction over matters that are within the jurisdiction of the probate division of that court under Chapter 2101., and other provisions, of the Revised Code and all matters that are within the general division of that court, as set forth in division (FF)(2) of section 2301.03 of the Revised Code.
