4921.01 Public utilities commission - motor transportation company definitions.


OH Rev Code § 4921.01 What's This?

As used in sections 4921.01 to 4921.32 of the Revised Code:

(A) “Public utility” has the same meaning as in section 4905.02 of the Revised Code.

(B) ” Street railway company,” “interurban railroad company,” and “motor-propelled vehicle” have the same meanings as in section 4905.03 of the Revised Code.

(C) “Railroad” has the same meaning as in section 4907.02 of the Revised Code.

(D) “Motor transportation company” has the same meaning as in sections 4905.03 and 4921.02 of the Revised Code.

(E) “Private motor carrier,” “contract carrier by motor vehicle,” “motor vehicle,” and “charter party trip” have the same meanings as in section 4923.02 of the Revised Code.
