Chapter 4766: MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION BOARD
4766.12 County, township, joint ambulance district, or joint emergency medical services districts.

If a county, township, joint ambulance district, or joint emergency medical services district chooses to have the Ohio medical transportation board license its emergency medical service organizations and issue permits for its vehicles pursuant to this chapter, except as may be otherwise provided, all provisions of this chapter and all rules adopted by the board thereunder are fully applicable. However, a county, township, joint ambulance district, or joint emergency medical services district is not required to obtain any type of permit from the board for any of its nontransport vehicles.
