Not later than one hundred eighty days prior to the thirtieth day of June following the fourth anniversary of the date membership began, the state teachers retirement system shall notify a member who is subject to section 3307.88 of the Revised Code of the opportunity to elect to continue participation in a plan established under section 3307.81 of the Revised Code. The notice shall include an explanation of the provisions of section 3307.881 of the Revised Code.
