Chapter 3307: STATE TEACHERS RETIREMENT SYSTEM
3307.47 Recovering erroneous payments.
If a person is paid any benefit or payment by the state teachers retirement system under the plans described in section 3307.031 of the Revised Code or under section 3307.371 of the Revised Code to which the person is not entitled, the benefit shall be repaid to the system by the person. If the person fails to make the repayment, the system shall withhold the amount due from any benefit due the person or the person’s beneficiary under this chapter, or may collect the amount in any other manner provided by law.
